WECO Elevator Products is a leading supplier of door detectors, electronic components and car position display systems to the international lift industry.

WECO Elevator Products was founded in 2000 by three partners who still manage and work in the company and who are responsible respectively for the European, North American and Asian operations of the company.

WECO Elevator Products began life as an elevator components company. At the time door detectors were one of a range of products sold by the company. In 2004 the company was re-organised into separate divisions manufacturing, distribution and commercial companies across the world.

The company head office is in Killarney, Ireland. Production is concentrated in Barcelona, Spain and Shanghai, China with commercial companies in Canada, Dubai, Istanbul, Italy, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India and Spain. There is an extensive international distribution network . WECO products are sold in more than 60 countries around the world.
